It took me a long time to figure out just what I wanted to make this website about and importantly what the first post ought to be about. I try my best as a coach to preface most everything that I say with “in my experience” so as to not speak in absolutes. All I have to go on is what I have experienced in over 15 years (and counting) of training for track, gymnastics, and weightlifting; and how I have applied it to those whom I have coached for about ten of those years. I can only comment on what I have tried over the years, and how it has affected myself and those that I train. My methods are constantly evolving as I am learning, relearning, and assessing what I put into practice. What I think today is vastly different from years go and it will continue to change as time goes on. That is the only thing I can say with absolute certainty.
